I would not recommend staying here. It is about 45 minutes outside of the city by autorickshaw. The family is nice, but will try to book you on expensive tours... dont be fooled! Also, none of the rickshaw drivers could ever find the place... i had to have the family draw a map for all my drivers. close

I wouldn\'t stay here again if you paid me! We were made pay ADDITIONAL taxes that weren\'t included in the hostelworld price(how convenient!), were told that they actually had no rooms for us and put us in another hotel instead! Also, we told them we would have an early arrival and...more I wouldn\'t stay here again if you paid me! I really wouldnt stay here again!close

Delhi aint the most exciting places in India and while good to spend a few (menaing 3 or less) days there, its boring and hectic to spend any more time here. Must see/dos in Delhi: - Goto Old Delhi and visit market and red fort - goto lotus gardens, surprisingly calm and beutiful and green,...more Delhi aint the most exciting places in India and while good to spend a few (menaing 3 or less) days there, its boring and hectic to spend any more time here. Must see/dos in Delhi: - Goto Old Delhi and visit market and red fort - goto lotus gardens, surprisingly calm and beutiful and green, sthg you dont often see in delhi - take pictures or food stalls, they're real scarey..... - jump onto a rickshaw and hope you're still intact at the end of the ride (be sure to bargain, they'll charge you extra just cos ur a tourist) - watch a hindi movie (there's some nice cinemas, particularly the PVC near hotel "The Grand"). they have reclining seats to cater fo rthe 2.5hrs+ movies - catch the Metro, its new and surprisingly clean (though questionable who long it will be kept that way) though limited network.close

Delhi is terrible - the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to be - I'm just grateful it was for only two nights!! And the worst part wasn't even the place, but the people - they made a bad place insufferable - they assaulted our sense of personal space from the second we stepped...more Delhi is terrible - the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to be - I'm just grateful it was for only two nights!! And the worst part wasn't even the place, but the people - they made a bad place insufferable - they assaulted our sense of personal space from the second we stepped out of the door to the second we got back - from taxis folowing you fro 30 minutes asking every few seconds if you wanted a taxi, and then accusing you of being rude when you finally break and start shouting at them, after all efforts of polite rebuttal have been ignored, to street sellers, to just people coming up to you and expecting you to be al friendly and conversational, and after explaining that you are very tired, and need some peace, thanks, they still just keep talking!!! We felt like it was hell on Earth, and left in the worst, most flea bitten mood imaginable. I hate it.close

I've been to many different places around the world but never experienced anything like this. It is tru that you either hate it or love it. For me it definitely leans on the negative as the people were the hardest to deal with. 1Very nice staff, there were currently construction measures going on and we were transferred (without having to ask)to another hotel that would have been more expensive. However, the offered tours are quite expensive. We booked the same tour (to Agra) through another agency for half the price....
